Vincent London commissioned Lightfield Studio to create these three blips for BBC One’s holiday season.
The cute concepts needed to be finished to a highly polished realism. For Ice we created a 3D particle system with many 2D compositing tricks to create the moisture trails as the ice was removed. The football blip required the creation of highly detailed texture maps for the surface of the ball, and the vacuum one incorporated a 3D dynamic animation system that used positional splines as a source.
