Lightfield Studio were commissioned to create this energetic animated title sequence for new program Fantasy Football League, part of the 2016-17 package of Premier League shows.
We handled the process from concept design to final production. Early on we decided to explore the idea of “beautiful data”, applying visual algorithms to the source footage of players to generate stunning animated layers.
These layers were combined to create a bold and colourful series of textures, which were intercut with bold typographic frames reflecting key fantasy football terminology.
The end result is a vivid, dynamic spectacle that celebrates the essence of Fantasy Football.
