Radio Design invited Lightfield to collaborate on this VR promotional video for Virgin Atlantic’s new upper class passenger experience. Filmed on location throughout the Virgin terminal and on their latest jet with custom lighting setup, the film follows a passenger moving through the full “Virgin Experience”.
Lightfield contributed 360 degree skies to the film, used as a transition device that flow around the viewer and take them to the next location. The skies were built using volumetric cloud simulations, allowing us to move the camera through them and change the lighting to show the passage of time.
